Egg-On the Officers!
If you've attended any of our recent meetings, you may have heard of our fundraiser! We are raising money in order to provide great opportunities for our dancers as well as keeping the lesson cost at $1.00 each week. This year, we will be playing a game of Egg Russian Roulette.
In Jimmy Fallon's Egg Russian Roulette, two contestants take turns picking eggs from a carton and smashing them on their heads. The catch? Half of the eggs are boiled and half are raw. The first contestant to smash three raw eggs on his or her head loses.
In our version, each of the officers (Ben Todd, Melinda Martin, Michael Jarvill, Sarah Sells, Ellyn Stacey, and Cole Bennett) have donation bags. Individuals can donate money to the officers they want to see go against each other. The two officers with the most money will go head-to-head in an Egg Russian Roulette Battle. Every time our fundraiser breaks $100, another officer gets thrown into the game. Potentially, all six of our officers could be competing against each other and getting eggs on their heads!
Our fundraiser will be running until April 18th. The officers with the most money will compete for the title of Egg Roulette Champion and the general approval of their peers. After our meeting on April 18th, we will host the battle, which will be live-streamed on our Facebook page (facebook.com/swingcats) for those who cannot make it out. Even if you are no longer in Abilene, we encourage you to get involved and donate to keep Swing Cats alive and kicking!
